About Department

The Department of CSE(DS) offers a 4-year B. Tech program with 180 intake. The primary objective of the department is to promote the graduates to be proficient in computer science, equipped with skills and expertise in Data Science Engieneering is the practice of extracting information and structure from data to solve problems. This emerging field has been disrupting every sector of industry through rapid integration of technology, algorithms, data and mobile apps.. The department of Data science was established in the year of 2020 with an intake of 60 students and now increased in intake with 180. The department plays a vital role in fostering students with up-to-date knowledge in Data Science. The department create opportunities for the students to upskill and strengthen the latest technology revolutions on their specialization.

To inculcate personalized learning experience among our students, an DS club has been created and opportunities are created by the department like., conducting workshop, add-on courses, project expo, Codeathon, Ideathon, Hackathon, Gamethon, design content etc. The Department has adequate computing lab facilities and well-equipped state-of-the-art laboratories.
