Climate Cell

Purpose

The Climate Cell aims to promote environmental awareness, climate responsibility, and sustainable practices among students and staff, preparing them to respond to climate change challenges at local and global levels.


Objectives of the Climate Cell
  • To create awareness about climate change, environmental protection, and sustainability.
  • To encourage eco-friendly habits and responsible use of natural resources on campus.
  • To involve students in climate action initiatives and community-based environmental programs.
  • To integrate climate literacy with academics, research, and extracurricular activities.
  • To promote green innovations, renewable energy use, and waste management practices.
  • To support alignment with NEP 2020 and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
  • To develop student leadership in environmental stewardship and climate advocacy.
  • To collaborate with NGOs, government agencies, and research bodies on climate-related activities.
