Electrical engineering is an engineering discipline concerned with the study, design, and application of equipment, devices, and systems which use electricity, electronics, and electromagnetism. The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering was established in the academic year 2001-2002 with an annual intake of 30 students. The intake is enhanced to 60 in the academic year 2003-2004, 120 in the academic year 2013-2014 and changed to 60 from the academic year 2021- 2022. The department provides students to produce professional engineers with a good working knowledge of analogue, digital and power electronics, electrical machines and power system with the emphasis on applications.The department of electrical and electronics engineering college has an excellent infrastructure to promote a congenial academic environment to impart quality education with well-equipped laboratories and a team of qualified and dedicated faculty members.The Department was accredited Twice by NBA in the year 2008-2011 and 2014-2016.
