About the Department

Information Technology [IT] of Sri Indu College of Engineering and Technology grooms the young minds in both fundamentals of computation and computation’s interaction with the world. The Department of Information Technology (IT) was established in the year 2001 with intake of 60 seats. The Department has an excellent team, dedicated and experienced faculty members. With the advancement and modernization of today's hardware & software components within computers which have grown in complexity, capacity & multitasking, the demand for quality computer engineers with expertise in software engineering has increased manifold. Our department works with a clear objective to equip our students with the skills and knowledge needed to tackle the challenges of the rapidly changing world. The department of Information Technology meets the Industry requirements with the revised modern curriculum structure. Our curriculum covers Artificial Intelligence, Augmented Reality, Data Analytics, Networking, Data Management, Cyber security, Communications, Web Technology, Software Design, and Systems Management and Administration. The faculties are involved in counselling, research, conduction of other co-curricular activities like Seminars, Workshops & Conferences apart from regular teaching. The department of IT provides comprehensive education that prepares our students to excel in the IT industries. we also emphasize a multidisciplinary approach that encompasses a wide range of key areas.
