About Department
Electronics and Communication Engineering is an ever growing industry in today’s digital scenario. The graduates are qualified for professional practice or to work in several areas of specialization. We prepare students as professional engineers through an education in fundamental principles presented in the context of real world applications and design. The Department of ECE was established in the year 2001 with an intake of 60 students. The intake was increased to 240 from the AY: 2012-13.
In order to provide quality education our department has following objectives:
- Graduates of our programme will adapt to the continuous changes in the field of Electronics & Communication Engineering.
- Will have a successful professional career.
- Will be able to communicate and work as a part of a team in order to be an effective member of the work place and the society.
Our B. Tech -ECE has been thrice accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). The syllabus is frequently updated according to the industry needs. Being an autonomous institute our syllabus meets the latest requirements of various industries globally. As such our program of B. Tech in ECE as well as of M.Tech in Embedded Systems is the at par with the standard and unique when compared to the similar programs offered.
